Employment Law (Employees)

--negotiated severance packages for a number of individuals terminated from their employment with private companies

--presented legal analysis and options to departing employees faced with a non-compete provision in their employment agreements

--filed charge of age discrimination on behalf of former private sector senior executive before the EEOC 


Workers' Compensation

--on behalf of a former Federal employee, drafted papers resulting in a successful challenge of an OWCP decision originally denying client's traumatic injury claim 


Federal Government Contracting

--for a small Federal IT contractor, challenged Air Force determination to terminate multi-million dollar contract pursuant to DoD's new "in-sourcing" initiative

--reviewed and analyzed "affiliation" rules for a small business applying for HubZone certification by the Small Business Administration

--advised prospective 8(a) applicant on the scope of SBA's one-time eligibility requirement under 13 CFR 124.108
